Madison’s love for dogs began early on in Miami, Arizona, where she spent her childhood helping her father train their Labradors. From teaching basic commands to coaching them in retrieving and preparing them to assist disabled owners, Madison relished every moment spent with her dogs—learning the language of animals and building lifelong bonds.

Her journey then led her to New York City, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Media, Culture, and the Arts, with a concentration and minor in Business Economics. During her college years, Madison worked at a Wall Street dog daycare for three years, where she took on everything from managing finances and scheduling to coordinating clients and overseeing operations. It was there that she honed her entrepreneurial spirit, always looking for new ways to improve and grow the business.

When Madison returned to Arizona, she had one clear goal: to infuse the Southwest with a fresh, dynamic culture, blending the bold, innovative spirit of New York with the laid-back, community-focused vibe of Arizona. She saw an opportunity to bring unique services and a bit of New York flair to Phoenix, but with a twist that felt right for the region—respectful of her local culture while offering something new and exciting.

Today, Madison is the face of Desert Pups, the go-to person for everything related to your furry family member’s care. Whether it’s daycare, slumber pawties, throwing a doggy birthday pawty, or advice for at-home training, she’s there to ensure that both pups and their pawrents feel at home. Madison believes that creating a thriving, supportive environment for dogs goes hand-in-hand with fostering relationships with their owners. By taking the time to get to know each pawrent and building a sense of community, she’s able to offer not just a service, but a friendship—a connection that goes beyond business and makes Desert Pups feel like a second home for both pups and their people.
